    Starfish Point

Starfish Point is a secluded beach near Rum Point that happens to have a lot of starfish.

The water is very shallow along the point, and then drops off to about 10 feet deep. Most of the starfish are in the deeper area, but you can also find them in the shallower water, making it easier to check them out.

The French Revolutionary War made armed protection necessary; in fact, Convert had recently been captured from the French.

    Barefoot Beach

On Queen’s Highway sits quiet, tranquil Barefoot Beach with a mixture of soft sand and ironshore. It is almost always empty without a living soul, while the beach is good, – though not the best on the island. In addition, there is the Geneva Kathleen shipwreck, which can be easily snorkeled right from the beach.
